Before installing the QwikLug, use a small piece of fine sandpaper or a wire brush to clean the oxidized copper/brass remains of the burnt terminal pin until it is shiny. A clean contact surface is critical; any carbon or soot left on the pin will create resistance, causing the new connection to overheat and eventually fail. Tighten the brass nuts firmly, but do not over-torque to avoid snapping the terminal pin.

Had a power outage last night and during the 100 degree heat today noticed that the AC was not blowing any cold air. Pulled the capacitors to have them checked and also took video of the relay making noise even with the breaker was off. The proprietor and her staff were very friendly and helpful.
