Kill the Power First! Before application, always disconnect the electrical power to the unit to avoid shorts and allow surfaces to reach room temperature for maximum chemical effectiveness. Take a picture first of the coil condition to verify coverage. Spray the foam from 6–8 inches away until a visible white blanket forms. Allow a full 10-minute contact time for complete disinfection. If you are cleaning a system with a blocked drain pan, clear the blockage first to ensure the dirt and condensation can exit the system properly once the unit is restarted.
